La Petite Chapelle Venue Spotlight
La Petite Chapelle is absolutely stunning. If you haven't seen it, you need to go check it out. La Petite Chapelle is a modern event venue inside a historic church. Conveniently located just off the 401 but surrounded by beautiful farm country. Originally constructed in 1851, La Petite Chapelle was the home of the first Presbyterian Church of Innerkip ON.
With a foot in the past and an eye on the future they've carefully renovated this beautiful structure with modern, airy styling while still maintaining it’s charming, historic features.
What's amazing is when you book at La Petite Chapelle, the entire space is yours. You get exclusive access to the property for your entire wedding. They can accommodate both ceremony and reception for up to 150 guests seated but have options for more intimate events as well.
Some of the spaces within La Petite Chapelle include:
The Sanctuary - This magnificant room is the primary space for your wedding reception and can also host your ceremony, should you choose. The space offers original hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings (nearly 30'), original stained glass windows, rows of whimsical, white chandeliers and unique millwork accents and plaster details. It's truly a one of a kind space.
The Lower Sanctuary - This airy space is a great option for your cocktail hour, a rain back up smaller ceremonies and parties. It’s also an idea spot to escape for bridal or couples portraits. It offers neutral, pale-grey flooring, large windows with deep sills, built in seating, airy pot lighting, freshly painted, original millwork details and it's accessible with ground level access.
The Garden - This private, garden space is an option for your outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour or simply to enjoy as you choose! This beautiful outdoor space is enclosed for privacy, it's accented by the historic church walls which is original brick and granite foundation, canopied by old growth trees and the gardens are just absolutely amazing.
The Steel Barn - This unique, industrial space is available for small ceremonies, cocktail hour or just as a distinctive photography spot! It's a pretty cool spot. It has unique corrugated metal walls, vaulted ceilings that are draped in lights, double barn doors and offers exposed concrete flooring.
